Despite the fact that Tivat was founded in the 14th century it is considered to be the youngest city of the Kotor Bay area. The main airport of the Montenegrin coast is located here and this is the place that meets and farewells thousands of tourists.
As many other cities of Montenegro Tivat has many places to visit. A summer house that is also called Renaissance Summer House Buca and flower island Ostrvo Cvijeca with sacred monuments, St. Marco Island located not far away from Tivat and built for use of the Parisian Club hosting 100 houses, all of them perfectly fitting the natural landscape of Montenegro.
For people who love swimming and sunbathing there is a beautiful Plavi Horizont Beach. Besides that one can go diving, mountain climbing or surfing, make an exciting trip to the mountains on foot or by bicycle and enjoy a great number of different routes, take a ride on catamarans or go water skiing.
